Journey to Joy #3 is a the third piece from the ‘Journey to Joy’ collection.

This collection is concerned with uncovering and exploring the inner parts of the self, enjoying new discoveries, ‘casting off the transient and revealing the true’. Inspired by both emotional and physical transitions as well as the Lotus Sutra, one of the most influential Buddhist texts.

Playing with different moods and media, this work plots the course of a map, or perhaps a maze, where getting lost is the point. The charcoal and pastel hues suggest progress and transformation.
